Royal d. Westlake, 13-15, 15-3, 15-6, 15-9--Jennifer Hamilton had a career-high 27 kills and Tracey Tahay had 43 assists to lead the Highlanders (11-2, 9-2) to a Marmonte League victory over visiting Westlake (6-5 in league play).
Royal will play Thousand Oaks (9-2 in league) for the league lead Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Newbury Park d. Simi Valley, 15-10, 15-5, 15-11--Jenny Cameron had 17 kills for Newbury Park (7-6, 7-4) in a Marmonte League match at Simi Valley.
Thousand Oaks d. Channel Islands, 15-4, 15-1, 15-4--Jenny Hagen had six kills and three aces to lead the visiting Lancers (9-2, 10-6) in a Marmonte League match.
Agoura d. Camarillo, 15-2, 15-9, 15-11--Jenny Tattersall had five kills and Diana Wiesbrock had four kills and three blocks to lead Agoura (9-4, 8-3) in a Marmonte League match at home.
Bishop Montgomery d. Alemany, 15-10, 17-15, 7-15, 10-15, 19-17-- Wendy Dreher had 20 kills for Alemany (7-5, 4-3) in a Mission League match at Alemany.
Ventura d. San Marcos, 15-11, 15-8, 15-8--Sarah Mahoney had nine kills to lead Ventura (9-2 in league play) to a Channel League victory over visiting San Marcos.
Van Nuys d. Birmingham, 15-7, 14-16, 7-15, 15-7, 15-10--Jenna Panatier had seven kills and five aces to lead the comeback by Van Nuys (8-1, 5-0) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference match at Van Nuys. Tina Larson had 18 kills for Birmingham (6-3, 3-2).
L.A. Baptist d. Western Christian, 15-8, 15-1, 15-1--Lucrieta Haynes had 11 kills and Natalie Kittle added seven to lead the Knights (11-2, 7-0) to an Alpha League victory over host Western Christian.
Oak Park d. St. Bonaventure, 15-9, 15-12, 15-8--Kristine Butler had eight kills to help host Oak Park (7-4, 4-3) win a Tri-Valley League match.
Moorpark d. Carpinteria, 15-2, 15-5, 15-11--Nicole Funfar had 11 kills and Amy Thomas added 11 assists and four aces to lead Moorpark (13-0, 7-0) to a Tri-Valley League victory over visiting Carpinteria (1-6 in league play).
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Pierce d. Moorpark, 15-9. 15-4, 15-0--Nikki Ferreria had six kills and four aces and teammate Jeannie Lane added six kills for Pierce (10-5, 9-3) in a Western State Conference match at Pierce.
Ventura d. Bakersfield, 12-15, 15-4, 15-5, 15-7--Erin Donaldson and Venessa Hackett each had 14 kills for Ventura (13-0, 12-0) in a WSC match at Bakersfield.
MEN’S SOCCER
The Master’s 4, Loyola Marymount 1--Momir Horvatek scored three goals and added an assist as the visiting Mustangs (8-8-1) defeated Loyola Marymount in a nonconference match.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Moorpark 3, Bakersfield 1--Heather Rolland scored two goals to help the Raiders (8-2-2, 4-0) beat visiting Bakersfield (10-2-2, 3-1) and remain undefeated in WSC play.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Harvard-Westlake 27, LaSalle 7--Jim Toring had five goals, and Doug Kezirian and Alan Paul added three each for Harvard in a San Fernando League match at Harvard.
Harvard (22-2, 6-0) is ranked No. 2 in the Southern Section 3-A Division.
Crespi 9, St. Francis 2--Robby Gram had four goals and Kris Behrens added three for Crespi (10-12, 3-2) in a San Fernando League match at Woodcrest Pool in Tarzana.
