COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Three Bruins Are on U.S. Top 10 Lists
After seven games, three Bruins are achieving prominence in national statistics:
--Cornerback Carlton Gray is tied for second in interceptions with an average of O.86.
--Wide receiver Sean LaChapelle is tied for third in receptions with an average of 6.7 and is seventh in receiving yardage with a 101.3 average.
--Quarterback Tommy Maddox is eighth in passing efficiency with a 152.8 rating.
LaChapelle, who already holds the UCLA single-season touchdown reception record with 11, has a chance to break the Pacific 10 mark of 14 set by Arizona State’s Doug Allen in 1984.
