Carlton Fisk, who became eligible Saturday when the Chicago White Sox decided not to exercise their $2.28-million option, was among 13 players who filed for free agency. Catcher Brian Harper of the Minnesota Twins was the first of eight eligible Twins to file. The others who filed: Dennis Lamp of the Boston Red Sox, Scott Fletcher of the White Sox, Jim Ganter of the Milwaukee Brewers, Dave Parker of the Toronto Blue Jays, Jim Clancy of the Atlanta Braves, Ted Power of the Cincinnati Reds, Garry Templeton of the New York Mets, Dickie Thon of the Philadelphia Phillies, Bob Walk of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Terry Kennedy of San Francisco Giants and Dwight Evans of the Baltimore Orioles.
