Crescenta Valley 27, Pasadena 0--Seniors David Rodgers and Eric Steinlight led the way as the Falcons (5-4, 1-3) posted their third shutout.

Rodgers, who rushed for 105 yards in seven carries, opened the scoring, rushing 74 yards on the second play from scrimmage, and he ended the scoring in the third quarter on a four-yard run.

In between, Steinlight, a 6-1, 215-pound defensive end/kicker, accumulated the rest of the points. His 41-yard field goal with 8:46 left in the first quarter made it 10-0 and his 25-yard scoring return of a fumble recovery eight minutes later blew the game open. He added a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter.

Crescenta Valley sacked quarterbacks Carlton Hall and Stacy Townsend 11 times for 72 yards.
