Carpinteria 28 Moorpark 26--Carpinteria (8-2, 3-1) earned a share of its sixth consecutive Tri-Valley League title at Moorpark High and also ended the 63-year rivalry between the schools with its 51st consecutive victory over Moorpark.

Moorpark quarterback Ryan Huisenga completed 15 of 30 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns, but the Musketeers (1-9, 0-4) missed two extra points.

Montebello Schurr 17, Alhambra 7--Schurr clinched its 14th playoff berth in 17 seasons and defeated the Moors for the 10th consecutive time in the Foothill League at Montebello High. KiKi Casillas gained 156 yards in 19 carries and Claudio Millan scored two touchdowns on a 51-yard pass play from Ray Donahue and a one-yard run for Schurr (8-2, 4-1).

Murphy 28, Montebello Cantwell-Sacred Heart 0--Tailback Ryan Parker rushed for 116 yards in 12 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead Murphy in a Santa Fe League game at Jackie Robinson Stadium as the Nobles (8-1, 4-0) clinched their first title since 1969.

Quarterback Richard Lira, making his first start of the season, completed 11 of 23 for 169 yards for Cantwell (5-4-1, 3-1).

Compton Dominguez 28, Downey 12--Dominguez (8-2, 5-1) scored 28 unanswered points in the San Gabriel Valley League game at home to earn a share of the league title with visiting Downey (6-3, 5-1). Robert Jenkins rushed for 159 yards in 18 carries and scored two touchdowns on runs of 64 and 28 yards for Dominguez.

El Monte Arroyo 42, El Monte 18--D.J. Hoyt rushed for 382 in 16 carries and scored five touchdowns to lead host Arroyo (7-3, 5-0) to its sixth Mission Valley League title in eight seasons.

Fairfax 18, Manual Arts 14--Quarterback Hasan Muhammad, filling in for his injured brother Rahim who suffered a fractured collarbone in a victory over Palisades last week, ran for a touchdown and passed for another to lead Fairfax (8-1, 7-0) to its second consecutive City Coastal Conference title.

* Ed Williams of Canyon Country Canyon scored three touchdowns as the Cowboys cruised to a 41-0 Golden League victory over Rigecrest Burroughs.

* Kevin McKenzie of Long Beach Wilson carried 14 times for 170 yards to lead the Bruins to a 37-22 triumph over Moore League rival Lakewood.

* D.J. Hoyt of El Monte Arroyo rushed for 382 yards and five touchdowns in 16 carries as Arroyo defeated El Monte, 42-18.

* Martin Gomez of Garfield completed 10 of 20 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown as the Bulldogs defeated Bell, 14-12, in Southeastern Conference action.

* Sean Lohse of Carpenteria ran for 297 yards in 38 carries as the Warriors beat Moorpark for the 51st consecutive time, 28-26.

* Tony Alvarez of Norwalk Glenn rushed for 96 yards in 21 carries to lead the Eagles past Norwalk, 16-12, in a Suburban League game.
