Kendrick Fleming, a freshman defensive tackle for Northeastern Oklahoma, broke his neck in a game against Northwestern Oklahoma and was hospitalized. A spokeswoman at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa said Fleming was in the intensive care unit in serious condition.
