Two Cal State Fullerton soccer players--senior forward Raul Haro and sophomore defender Ken Hesse--and UC Irvine sophomore midfielder John O’Brien were named first-team All-Big West Conference Monday.
Irvine’s Derek Lawther, whose team finished 10-10 after going 5-14-2 last year, was named coach of the year, sharing the honor with Fresno State’s John Bluem.
Bluem guided the Bulldogs to their eighth consecutive NCAA postseason bid.
Fresno State’s Gerell Elliott, a senior forward, was named player of the year.
