University’s Fylpaa to Play Tennis at UNLV

Jeannette Fylpaa, No. 1 singles player at University High and one of the top players in the county, Monday signed a letter of intent to attend Nevada Las Vegas on a tennis scholarship, University Coach Karen Speros said.
Fylpaa, a four-year varsity player, was 45-3 overall this season and undefeated in Sea View League matches.
She’ll play Saturday in the qualifying round of the Southern Section individual championships at Huntington Beach High.
