ONE LAST CHANCE

Recently the magazine devoted a cover to the life-fulfilling activities of the song girls at USC (“The Dream Team,” Sept. 8). How appropriate to give UCLA its recognition in “One Last Chance,” about the life-saving research going on at its end of town. Vive la difference! KIMBERLYN J. DREW
