North Carolina’s Kristine Lilly, an All-American midfielder-forward and member of the world champion U.S. women’s soccer team, was named the winner of the Hermann Trophy.
The men’s winner of the award, presented to the top male and female college soccer players in the nation, was Alexi Lalas of Rutgers.
