Tulsa tailback Chris Hughley will sit out the Dec. 30 Freedom Bowl game at Anaheim Stadium against San Diego State because his grades weren’t up to requirements set by Coach Dave Rader. Hughley, the nation’s fifth-leading rusher, was averaging 132 yards per game.
