Six cars traveling the Simi Valley Freeway early Friday hit a light pole that had been knocked over by another car that drifted off the road, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.
No injuries were reported in the 6:30 a.m. incident, which occurred between Kuehner Drive and Stearns Street, Officer T. J. McAllister said.
Kimberly Seam, 39, of West Hills was headed west on the freeway in a 1989 Acura when she drove onto the right shoulder and struck the 40-foot light pole, McAllister said.
The pole fell across the right traffic lane where it was immediately struck by six other cars, McAllister said. Several of the cars received minor damage, she said.
