5,000 Counterfeit Shirts Seized at Warehouse
Sheriff’s detectives Tuesday raided a warehouse in Walnut, where they seized about 5,000 counterfeit T-shirts and sweat shirts.
“It was set up just like a store,” said sheriff’s spokesman Dick Dinsmoor. Detectives from the forgery-fraud detail found the clothing on display, Dinsmoor said. It was not immediately known if there were any arrests.
Among the items confiscated were shirts bearing the fake labels of Guess, Chanel, the Hard Rock Cafe and professional baseball, football and basketball teams, Dinsmoor said.
