Leave the Dancing to the Graceful Ones
I see where the NFL’s Paul Tagliabue wants to bring back end zone dancing after a touchdown. Other sports could conceivably continue in the spirit with their own versions.
After a win, a basketball team could no doubt put on a good show although the seven-footers might bow out. I don’t know about baseball. For home games, perhaps the entire squad could circle the bases in a snake dance to the tune of organ music. Boxing might enter the picture if the bout is only a few rounds, but after dancing around for 10 rounds, I can’t imagine the victor tripping the light fantastic.
The best bet would be ice hockey. These players are excellent skaters and could put on a dazzling dance routine.
