Hahm dominated two Delphic League games by scoring five goals as the Wildcats recorded two shutout victories. He scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Oakwood and added three more goals in a 5-0 win over Windward as Whitney improved its league record to 5-1-1.

* Avondre Jones, a 6-foot-11 center of the Artesia High basketball team, scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Pioneers defeated Norwalk, 69-33, then had 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Pioneers clobbered Glenn, 80-42. The wins improved Artesia’s Suburban League record to 4-0 and its league unbeaten streak to 41 games.

* Ken Fitzpatrick, a 6-foot-8 center for Bell Gardens, scored 51 points as the Lancers earned two more victories and improved their Whitmont League raecord to 6-1. Fitzpatrick scored 23 points as the Lancers defeated Pioneer, 77-44, then had a game-high 28 points in a 75-46 win over Montebello.
