Death Turns Stabbing Case Into Homicide
ANAHEIM —
An Anaheim man who was stabbed several times while standing near a convenience store died late Wednesday, prompting a homicide investigation, police reported.
Raymond Apolinar, 25, died about 11:30 p.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Sgt. Pattie Wasielewski said.
Two men approached Apolinar as he stood near the Flash Mini Mart at 2940 W. Lincoln Ave. at 4:10 p.m. Witnesses told police that one man stabbed Apolinar several times before driving away in a light-colored pickup.
