Gaucho Women Rout Long Beach, 88-52

Erika Kienast had 18 points and 11 rebounds as UC Santa Barbara defeated Cal State Long Beach, 88-52, in women’s basketball at Santa Barbara Monday night.

It was the eighth consecutive victory for the Gauchos (18-3 overall, 11-1 in the Big West), tying a school record and putting them in first place. Long Beach (15-7, 9-4) fell to fourth place with the loss.
