FOR AGES 30 AND OVER
Sign-ups for the North County division of the Men’s Senior Baseball League will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Fallbrook High School varsity baseball field.
Players do not have to try out for teams; they will be assigned to a squad.
“Our policy is to give everyone a chance to play, to give people the experience of playing baseball,” division president Dan Piro said. Players who miss Sunday’s sign-ups can still register by calling Piro at 598-7220 before league play begins April 5.
Since the teams are not sponsored, the players must foot the bill. Cost for an individual player is about $200 for the season, which runs from April to October. Uniform cost is not included in the sign-up fee.
FOR AGES 18 AND OVER
Players under age 30 also have a chance to compete in hardball. The Men’s Adult Baseball League, for ages 18 and over, will begin regular season games. For information, call Jim Haynes at 291-9711 or 538-1092.
