INTRUDERS: Crime continues to be a big worry among seniors, even in gated communities. . . . The recent killing of a man in Leisure World in Seal Beach has residents there rattled. And a cat burglar who’s pulled nearly a dozen jobs inside the Laguna Hills complex has homeowners plotting traps. . . . “Some residents are afraid of this masked man, but we are going into a full-court press against this crook,” said Sherwood Heiser, president of the homeowners’ association. “If I were the enemy, I would be scared.”
