COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : OCC Rallies to Beat Riverside in 10 Innings

Orange Coast rallied from an eight-run deficit to defeat Riverside, 14-11, in an Orange Empire Conference baseball game Tuesday at Riverside. Justin Halper had the game-winning hit, a three-run double in the 10th.

In other conference games:

Cypress 8, Rancho Santiago 4--David Newhan, Kevin Clark, Tony Martinez and Ryan Hamilton had home runs for visiting Cypress (14-10, 3-7).

Saddleback 12, Fullerton 9 (8 innings, darkness)--Nathan Malagon had four hits, including his second home run, and drove in four runs for visiting Saddleback (10-6-2, 6-3-1).

In a nonconference game:

Golden West 14, Los Angeles Harbor 5--David Schultz had three home runs and eight RBIs for visiting Golden West (10-8-1).
