3 Children Shot to Death; Boy, 16, Is Held in Custody

LEBANON, Mo. —
Three children in a family, ages 3 to 14, were shot and killed in their rural home and a 16-year-old boy was in custody, authorities said. LaClede County Sheriff Robert Dotson said the suspect knew the victims and confessed to a friend Tuesday. Investigators said they had not established a motive.
