From staff and wire reports

A former employee pleaded guilty Friday to charges that she bilked health-care provider FHP Inc. in Fountain Valley of more than $100,000 over a 30-month period and split the money with four accomplices.

Carla Corley, 31, of Anaheim was ordered to return to Orange County Superior Court in Westminster for sentencing on June 12. She remains free on $50,000 bail.

The accomplices to whom Corley signed FHP checks--Elizabeth Webber and Kelly Ogle of San Bernardino--had pleaded guilty to one count each of grand theft and conspiracy. They are scheduled to be sentenced on Friday.

Webber’s husband, Randy, was sentenced to 16 months in prison last week and Ogle’s husband, Jack, will be arraigned Thursday on the same charges.

Corley also pleaded guilty to grand theft and conspiracy charges.

Police alleged that Corley embezzled the money from the health care company between December, 1988, and July, 1991.
