La Reina 8, St. Bonaventure 0--Michelle St. Pierre pitched four perfect innings for La Reina before yielding a single in the fifth. St. Pierre (5-3) finished with a two-hitter in a Tri-Valley League game.

Newbury Park 4, Royal 1--Wendy Johnson struck out six and allowed two hits for Newbury Park (3-4, 2-1) in a Marmonte League game.

Crescenta Valley 13, Schurr 1--Stacy Atwood struck out nine in three innings and extended her scoreless inning streak this season to 37 as Crescenta Valley (8-0) won a nonleague game at Schurr.

Kim Welsh went three for three with a double, triple and four RBIs. Atwood hit a solo home run.

Sylmar 9, Monroe 0--Ruby Gonzalez held Monroe to two hits and struck out 13 as Sylmar (7-3, 2-0) won a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Monroe. Sonia Garcia went four for four and Patti Moran had three RBIs for Sylmar.

Agoura 3, Channel Islands 1--Megan Kenny limited Channel Islands to five hits and Heather Hascall added a run-scoring double to lead host Agoura (2-5, 2-1) in a Marmonte League game.

Reseda 5, Cleveland 0--Jayme Rebbeck (3-0) allowed two singles in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Cleveland.

Shayna Hoffman, Jill Pomrantz and Michelle Brewer each had two hits for Reseda (4-2, 1-1).

Alemany 1, Burbank 0--Freshman Sophie Contreraz (3-0) pitched a one-hitter and Tanya Ortiz singled home Krista Gomez in the first inning and Alemany (6-3) held on for a nonleague victory at Burbank (8-5).

Camarillo 3, Westlake 0--Laura Richardson (6-2) pitched a no-hitter and struck out 18 in a Marmonte League game at Camarillo. Miki Mangan and Ginny Mike each had two hits for Camarillo.

El Camino Real 13, Kennedy 0--Jennifer Gould and Gretchen Vandenberg combined to hold Kennedy hitless in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Petit Park.

Granada Hills 3, Chatsworth 0--Brandy Brennan and Jessica Shapiro combined on a two-hitter and struck out eight for Granada Hills (8-1, 2-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Chatsworth.

Karen Berkowitz’s two-run double was the big offensive blow.

BOYS’ TRACK & FIELD

Alemany 84, Chaminade 42--Terry Barnum won four events as the visiting Indians (4-0) rolled in a Mission League meet. Barnum won the 100 meters (10.9 seconds), 200 (22.5), 400 (52.2) and long jump (19-9).

Antelope Valley 79, Saugus 52--Eugene Dreher won the 100 (11.3), 200 (23.0) and long jump (20-6 1/2) and anchored the victorious 400 relay team (45.1) to lead host Antelope Valley in a Golden League meet.

GIRLS’ TRACK & FIELD

Glendale 61, Crescenta Valley 57--LaTesha Kelly of Glendale held off a strong surge by Crescenta Valley’s Sarah MacDougall in the stretch of the decisive mile relay to give the Dynamiters the Pacific League win.

Kelly and Glendale edged MacDougall and the Falcons, 4:30.8 to 4:30.9, in the final event.
