Julian Barajas smacked a three-run triple in the third inning to spark a four-run rally and relief pitcher Frank Adame put the brakes to an El Segundo High rally in the sixth to lead Hueneme to a 7-6 victory Saturday in the championship final of the San Luis Obispo tournament.

Adame relieved starter Marco Grajales in the sixth and retired three batters to work out of a bases-loaded jam. El Segundo (14-2) threatened again in the seventh, but center fielder Juan Ponce made a diving catch.

Casey Bolen of Hueneme (9-6-1) was named tournament most valuable player after going six for 11 and setting a tournament record with six stolen bases.
