NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue let stand a trade involving linebacker Jesse Solomon and four NFL teams--the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Solomon originally went from Minnesota to Dallas in the 1989 deal that sent Herschel Walker to Minnesota. The deal included a stipulation that Solomon could not be traded to another team in the NFC Central Division.

Last September, Dallas traded Solomon to New England, which then traded him to Tampa Bay, an NFC Central team. The Vikings filed a grievance alleging the deal violated the original agreement.

However, a statement from the league said Tagliabue found no prior arrangement among Dallas, New England and Tampa Bay.
