Second-ranked Stanford used a career night from junior Jair Lynch to roll up an NCAA-record 289.55 points and win the school’s first men’s NCAA gymnastics title at Lincoln, Neb.
Top-ranked Nebraska was second with 288.95.
Lynch, who turned in the top all-around qualifying score Thursday night with a total of 58.50, had 59.025 in Friday’s team finals. He had three scores of 9.9 or better.
