Times Handicapper Leads Again With 261 Winners

Times handicapper Bob Mieszerski led all newspaper selectors with 261 winners during the 94-day Santa Anita meeting that ended Monday. Syndicated handicappers Bob Ike and Jeff Siegel finished in a tie for second.

Mieszerski has now won two of the last four major meetings in Southern California and was second at the other two. He also led at Oak Tree and was the runner-up at Del Mar and the fall-winter meeting at Hollywood Park.
