Longtime Nevada boxing official Chuck Minker died Sunday of a rare form of lung cancer.
Minker, 42, had been executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission since 1987. Before that, he was a Nevada boxing judge who worked 27 world title fights. Minker was also a high school official for 20 years in southern Nevada for football, basketball and baseball.
