Michele Ponce, a four-year starting pitcher for University High’s softball team, has signed a letter of intent to attend Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C.
Ponce had a 13-5 record for the Trojans this season. She had offers from Norfolk State and Toledo before choosing Shaw, an NAIA school with an enrollment of 1,460.
