BOOSTER CLUB: KTLA Channel 5 sports announcer Ed Arnold, above, is bringing his resonant voice to a new cause: boosting the Disneyland image. With publicity about Disney gifts to government figures and Anaheim homeowners concerned about Disneyland expansion plans, Arnold says it’s “time some of us got together to talk about the good things Disney does.” Arnold of Fountain Valley says the booster group he’s helping to form won’t officially represent Disneyland but will speak up when requested.
