Assistant Principal for New School Named
Silvia Montero, a member of the El Monte High School counseling staff, has been named assistant principal for the new South El Monte High School, which will open in September.
Montero, who joined the El Monte Union High School District in 1976, earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Cal State Los Angeles and her administrative credential from Azusa Pacific University.
