BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE MAJOR LEAGUES : Reds Activate Outfielder Sanders
The Cincinnati Reds activated outfielder Reggie Sanders off the 15-day disabled list Thursday and called up catcher Scott Bradley, who opened the season with Seattle. The Reds optioned outfielder Jacob Brumfield and infielder Jeff Branson to triple-A Nashville. Sanders has been sidelined by a sore left hamstring. . . . The New York Mets optioned outfielder D.J. Dozier to Tidewater of the International League and said they planned to reactivate outfielder Vince Coleman, who had been on the disabled list since May 2 because of a torn left rib-cage muscle.
