SPORTSCOPE : Toro Women Finish Second in CCAA All-Sports Ratings

Cal State Dominguez Hills has finished second out of eight schools in the women’s division of the California Collegiate Athletic Assn.’s all-sports standings released by the conference.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo finished first with an average of 3.42 points on a scale of 0 to 5. Dominguez Hills averaged 3.13.
The Toros competed in four women’s sports. They shared the conference soccer title with Cal Poly Pomona and went on to win their first NCAA Division II championship.
Dominguez Hills also finished second in the CCAA in basketball, third in softball and fifth in volleyball.
The Toros placed fourth in the men’s division. UC Riverside finished first with a 3.90 average; Dominguez Hills had a 2.67 average.
