Teen-Ager Fatally Shot in Argument
A 16-year-old Garden Grove teen-ager was shot to death during an argument with a group of youths, police said Friday.
Police, who did not identify the victim, said an argument broke out among a group of young people about 6:30 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot on Bolsa Avenue between Weststate and Moran streets.
Initially four youths were taken into custody, but they were released due to insufficient evidence, said Westminster Police Sgt. J. M. Waller.
The victim was taken to Humana Hospital-Westminster where he died.
The investigation is continuing.
