A lone robber held up a Thousand Oaks branch of Security Pacific Bank on Wednesday, fleeing with an undetermined amount of money, authorities said.
The robbery occurred at 3:25 p.m., when a man walked into the branch at 612 E. Janss Road and presented a demand note to a teller, Sheriff’s Sgt. Keith Parks said.
The robber fled after he received an unknown amount of money.
Witnesses did not report seeing a weapon, and no one was injured in the robbery, Parks said.
The man was described as about 30 years old and 6 feet, 1 inch in height. He may have had his brownish red hair tied back in a ponytail, Parks said.
