Kevin Washington, University of Maryland wide receiver, was arrested Friday charged with forgery and misdemeanor theft, according to university police. He also allegedly stole credit cards from two people living in his campus apartment building, police said. Washington is not charged with using the cards to make purchases, but a teammate--running back Larry Washington--said he used one of the cards to buy tennis shoes and some clothes, the Washington Post reported. Larry Washington was not charged by police. Both players have been suspended from the team.
