Smoke Fills 12th Floor of Bayfront Hotel
The 12th floor of the Holiday Inn on the Bay on San Diego’s embarcadero filled with smoke Tuesday night, prompting an investigation by the Metro Arson Strike Team, the Fire Department said.
Robert Donlin, chief of security for the hotel, on North Harbor Drive at Ash Street, described the incident as “minor little smoke in the linen room from an unknown source” and said a fire never broke out.
Donlin said no hotel guests were evacuated and that business had “returned to normal” by late Tuesday.
