Jurisprudence
Jeff Fenech, a three-time world boxing champion, was found guilty in Australia of assaulting a shop owner and fined $215.
Magistrate Peter Miszalski fined Fenech for what he described as “in many ways a very minor assault.” Miszalski also recorded convictions of assault causing bodily harm against Fenech’s brother-in-law, Mario Adamo; his training partner, boxer Peter Mitrevski, and friend Maxwell Semrani.
Fenech, 28, is the former International Boxing Federation bantamweight and World Boxing Council super-bantamweight and featherweight champion.
