SVETI STEFAN, Yugoslavia —
The 10th chess game in the $5 million rematch between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky was postponed Thursday after Spassky complained of kidney trouble.
Spassky asked for Thursday’s encounter to be held over until Saturday. He lost the ninth game to Fischer on Wednesday, giving the American a 4-2 lead in the rematch. Draws do not count.
Spassky, 55, has made a series of blunders in the last three games that experts speculated could be health-related.
