COLLEGE FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Hawaii Extends Its Streak Over BYU With 36-32 Win

In a game that started at 10 p.m. PDT Saturday in Honolulu, Hawaii defeated Brigham Young at Aloha Stadium for the third consecutive time when Ivin Jasper threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Marlowe Lewis with 37 seconds to play to beat the Cougars, 36-32.
The Rainbows (3-0 overall, 2-0 in the Western Athletic Conference) appeared to be well on their way to victory with a 29-10 lead early in the fourth quarter.
But the Cougars (1-4, 1-2) scored 22 straight points, with third-string quarterback Ryan Hancock passing for two touchdowns and Jamal Willis running for a touchdown to take a 32-29 lead with 5:01 left.
SATURDAY’S LATE GAMES
Washington State 39, Fresno State 37--Drew Bledsoe threw two touchdown passes to C.J. Davis in the final 3:39 to lead the Cougars at Fresno.
The winning touchdown, a 10-yard pass, came with 40 seconds left. Washington State (3-0), trailed, 20-7, in the first half, but Bledsoe, who also scored two touchdowns, gave the Cougars a 33-30 lead with a 17-yard pass to Davis with 3:29 left.
Barely a minute later, the Bulldogs (2-2) regained the lead on a 54-yard pass play from Trent Dilfer to Malcolm Seabron.
Pacific 48, Southwest Missouri 14--Aaron Turner set an NCAA record by accruing 100 yards in receptions for the 19th time and Ryan Benjamin rushed for a career-high 209 yards for the Tigers at Stockton.
Dave Henigan, Pacific’s reserve quarterback, passed for 323 yards and three touchdowns, leading a 426-yard passing effort while filling in for Troy Kopp, who was out with a sprained ankle.
