San Marcos 41, Hueneme 14--Hueneme (0-5, 0-2) scored first and last, but in between San Marcos (4-1, 2-0) countered with six consecutive touchdowns. Hueneme broke on top when George Jones hit Von Gilmore with a seven-yard scoring pass to cap the Vikings’ first possession.
Then San Marcos quarterback Danny LaGreca went to work. LaGreca connected with Brian Ricci on a seven-yard scoring pass to tie the score.
