Bell 27, Locke 12--Running backs Rene Ramirez and Bobby Sullivan teamed up for 151 yards rushing and three touchdowns to lift Bell over Locke in a Southeastern Pacific Conference game.
Ramirez rushed for 84 yards in 18 carries, while Sullivan had 67 yards in 22 carries. Bell quarterback Omar Rodriguez completed six of 15 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown.
Locke quarterback Akili Roberson threw for one touchdown. The team’s performance was marred by six penalties totaling more than 50 yards.
