Manual Arts 41, Los Angeles 6--Paul Boyd took the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to spur the Toilers to their first win of the season in a Coastal Conference game.
Dion Laffitte carried 14 times for 180 yards and had touchdown runs of seven, 11 and five yards for Manual Arts. Jorge Amaya had seven carries for 36 yards to lead the winless Romans.
