Canoga Park 3, Monroe 0--Canoga Park tailback David Kreider rushed for 125 yards in 26 carries and scored the only points with a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter.
Host Canoga Park (5-3, 3-2) gained 210 yards but failed to convert its scoring opportunities. Kreider missed field-goal attempts of 25 and 41 yards and fumbled at Monroe’s 24-yard line.
An 18-yard touchdown pass from Kreider to Rafael Palacios was negated by penalty. On the following play, Kreider missed his field-goal attempt from 41 yards.
Monroe (1-7, 0-4) generated only 73 yards in offense.
