A 25-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder for the killing of a man who was stabbed several times while in the bedroom of his North Hills apartment, Los Angeles police said Saturday.

Yolanda Rios surrendered to Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in Norwalk about 6:30 p.m. Friday, saying a dead man was in an apartment in the 8900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, Sgt. Kevin Williams said.

The body of the unidentified man was found a few minutes later by police officers. He was lying in bed with several stab wounds to the upper torso, Williams said. A small amount of narcotics also was found in the room, Williams said.
