Police on Friday asked for help in their search for a man who has been missing since Oct. 30.

Michael William Johnston, 28, has not been heard from since he called his mother about noon from the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Westminster, where he was renewing his driver’s license, said Garden Grove Police Detective Tim Craig, who is investigating the man’s disappearance.

Johnston, who is slightly mentally handicapped, takes medication for depression but did not have it with him at the time, according to his mother, who reported him missing, Craig said.
