The headline reads, “Riders Rail Against Cars; O.C. Commuters Say Metrolink Coaches Are Noisy and Cramped” (Oct. 23).
A person might rephrase it thus: “Heavily tax-subsidized rail commuters complain that their new million-dollar cars are not luxurious enough; petition contains no offer to pay higher fares.”
