OCEANSIDE : Argument Escalates, 2 Wind Up Dead

Two men were fatally shot Tuesday in an Oceanside apartment parking lot, a police spokesman said.
Jorge Aguilar, 25, of Oceanside, and Francisco Arredondo, 22, residence unknown, were shot in the 2500 block of Oceanside Boulevard about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, officials said. Aguilar was pronounced dead at Tri-City Hospital and Arredondo died in surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, said Oceanside police spokesman Bob George.
Witnesses told police an argument between at least six men turned into a fistfight. As the fight broke up, four of the men were shot at by two others driving away in a pickup truck, George said. The investigation is continuing.
