Olson Quits, Cites Personal Reasons
Sandi Olson, a fifth-year senior center for Cal State Northridge, quit the team Tuesday for personal reasons, according to Coach Kim Chandler.
“I’m disappointed in her decision but I support it, wish her the best and continued success,” Chandler said.
Olson could not be reached for comment.
Olson started both CSUN games this season, scoring seven points and taking six rebounds. She played only seven minutes in last Saturday’s loss to Pacific.
She averaged 6.9 points during her career and finished fourth on the school’s all-time list in blocked shots and minutes played.
