The NCAA lifted an order requiring any school hiring former Memphis State football coach Charlie Bailey to show why it should not be subject to NCAA show-cause procedures.
The NCAA Committee on Infractions, after a meeting with Bailey, said his career has suffered because of the 1989 sanctions and he had no record of NCAA violations outside of his association with Memphis State.
